C3 engine pull bracket

Are the two brackets the same style for 1970 L46. The location of the rear bracket is on the right side. Bolted to the bellhouing, is that correct.

I'm not sure what you are asking in your first question. The same style as what? -- if you mean the same as each other the answer is NO. I believe many of the large mail order vendors have a suitable reproduction of the engine lifting brackets.

You have the location of the rear bracket correct. It bolts to the upper of the two engine to bell housing bolts that are right above each other.

The front and rear bracket are they the same. Single bolt

The front and rear brackets are definitely NOT the same. They both mount with a single bolt, but that's where the "similarity" ends.
