Went to buy a set of new rear dust shields and there was a sticker on them from the manufacturer that read "will not work with stainless steel parking brake shoes." 1. Why?? 2. Why Not?? So we called the manufacturer and they said they had problems with them rubbing. Don't those trailing arm rebuild shops ALL put SS pads/shoes in there assemblies? Yes, we put the replacement standard pad up to the SS pad and there was a bit of difference, But?? They also said the SS shoes won't sit properly in the new shield. I just want a pair of properly plated rear dust shields that accept SS shoes and hardware. Is that to much to ask for..?? I'm tring Paragons with the proper ## and Delco Moraine. Any problems?? Zinc not goldish plated right? I'm assuming someone drove their car with the E- Brake on and that's what threw things out of whak. Any comments/answers would be well appreciated!!
