C1 Soft Top Frame Install & Adjustment

Can anyone give me some pointers and/or detailed directions on installing a C1 soft top frame, and adjusting it to fit.

I'm having trouble with the glass hitting the frame right at the rear bend, and then again where the two horizontal pieces articulate.

Any help would be appreciated!

That's hard to cover all the details . If you have the hard top adjust the side windows to it first . If not the side windows can be moved around for a better fit to the soft top , The frame main support first needs to move to fit the curve your asking about ,then the second arm (articular arm) moving it adjust the two horizontal pieces above the window to flatten them or remove the "v" . Then header slides forward or back to best meet the windshield and latches need adjustment also.
Now! many soft top material are installed to tight causing more problems. Hope this helped -good luck

To straighten the "V", take a correct length 1x1 or 1x2 piece of wood and clamp it across the "V". this will keep it straight while you work on the window adjustments and the final mounting of the frame to the body. Adjustments will be required as you lower the top into the deck to lay flat. do not force the deck lid closed, as the lid bolts will come lose.
