C3 68-77 removable or fixed rear windows

can anyone tell me with certainty which C3's from 68-77 had pop out rear windows and which ones had the fixed rear windows. i was always under the impression that the a/c cars had the fixed rear windows and the non a/c cars had the pop out rear windows from 68-77.

68-72 cars had the removable rear window. It is a fairly easy conversion to make a 73 and up car into a removable rear window.

The a/c cars had a fixed (closed) Astrovent panel in the rear deck, whereas the non-ac cars had a funtioning Astrovent system.

if i am understanding this correctly, 68-72 all had removable rear windows regardless if equipped with a/c or not. and, 73-77 all had a fixed rear windows regardless if equipped with a/c or not. is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. The window was year model and had nothing to do with AC or non AC.
