C2 (1967) Cylinder Case Assembly Stamping

Could someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I cannot find an indication anywhere that a Roman Numeral rather than digits 0 - 9 were ever used in the Engine Assy portion of the block stamp pad info. In other words, any block with a Roman numeral "I" (capital "i") instead of the number "1" in the date code portion of the Assy Stamping would be an obvious fake, right?

    Thanks,
    Bob

The letter 'I' was used interchangeably with the number '1', as was the letter 'O' for the number '0'

    AFA1K.

6 was turned upside down for a 9 also.

I believe it is the norm for the letter I to be used for number 1 in the assy stamp.
