What would be a fair price to pay for a 9002-D regulator?

That's a tough question, it's all relative to how bad you want one. Supply and demand, they go for up to $600, is it worth it? Not to me, but my 62 is a daily driver that gets about 7500 miles ayear, to a person needing that part for top flight status, maybe yes.

If we are talking 1962 voltage regulators I think the question relates to a 002E. I've seen one in the last ten years. Personally, I think you would have to pay more than $600 to get one.

I just bought one for $175. and it needed to be restored and sent it to John Pirkle. One just sold for $225. on ebay this past weekend. Have seen used sell for up to $600. The 002E used in 62 are more.

Thanks for the responses! Just bought a 9002-D with an 0-M date for $178.00 and it is an original (NOS) unused Regulator.
