I just found my origional master cylinder in the Garage and it is off my 1960 vette. My question is where would be the best place to get it rebuilt?

Re: Master Cylinder
Tom, Some may suggest White Post Restoration, I've never tried them. I have in the past had all my cylinders relined in stainless steel by Imperial Machine, Richard Suhr (402) 488 9450. I found his work always excellent. He used to advertise in Hemmings but doesn't do so anymore. I don't know if he still takes this type work on or not. Might call. Regards,- Top

WHITE POST
Beware of White Post. Last set I got back was unwashed AND they forgot to drill holes in the sleeves. REAL ameteur job for high dollar. Also, I prefer brass sleeves to stainless because of the abrasive properties of stainless aginst rubber. The weight and relative inelasticity (inability to return to it's original dimension after a heat cycle) are also negatives in the use of stainless. Disc brake calipers are a different story. I would use stainless in that application.
