Zerex G05 Anti Freeze

Per recommendations of the TDB, I've installed Zerex G05 (HOAT) anti freeze in my 66 SB cooling system but now cannot find any store that sells it in the Pittsburgh area. Any one know who carries it? Zerex is now owned by Valvoline.

I find it at AutoZone, but I'm not sure if there any of those in your area.

Zerex G-05 is also carried by Pep Boys and by NAPA Stores. If you still cannot locate it, call Valvoline Customer Service and find out who stocks it in your area. There has to be a source.

As a last resort, go down to your local Chrysler Dealership and buy their MOPAR Antifreeze/Coolant #05066386AA (Spec MS-9769). Same stuff as Zerex G-05, but a different (pink) color.

All Ford and Mercedes Benz cars/trucks also use the G-05 formulation, but Zerex G-05 from an auto parts store is usually much less expensive.

Thanks guys -- found it in an autoparts supermarket nearby. Local Autozones do not carry the G05.
