Well, It has been a while since I've been on line but I've found some more money to drop in my 68's. My question is. Is there anyone out there that has rebuilt an Air Injection Reactor Pump? If so I'm trying to find a break out diagram and a place to get parts. I've taken it all a part except getting the main shaft and it't parts out of the case. I'm not sure how it all comes out and I don't want to break anything. I no that it goes to my car because I took off the white opaque plastic fan and found the casting number to be 7801135. Help Jay

Forget it. You won't find the parts anywhere that I know of. You could, of course, purchase a rebuilt pump and scavenge the parts from it. I absolutely don't recommend it, though. Send the pump to Bill Hodel for rebuild. This is one of those areas where experience counts for a lot.
As far as I know, GM never published SERVICE procedures or specifications for the 2nd generation pumps (i.e. 68+) outside of centrifugal filter (i.e. fan) replacement. They never sold internal parts for 2nd generation pumps, either, although parts were once available for 1st generation pumps. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Addendum
Jay----
By the way, once-upon-a-time I tried to rebuild a 1st generation pump. The operation was successful but the patient died. In other words, the pump worked just fine after rebuild, but it was so noisy it would drive you crazy and couldn't be used.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

It's a lot simpler to just "gut" the pump (pitch the vanes and springs) and put it back together; that will remove its only failure mode (vane seizure) and nobody will ever know the difference.- Top
