66 seat belts - "male end"

I just received a set of lap belts from ssnake-oyl products, and noticed that the male end of their belts is larger and a different size than what I think were original belts to the car. The car was built in June of 66. Does anyone have any info on what is correct or what I need for no point deductions?

    thanks

    Matt,
June 1966 Corvettes will have 1967 belts. Brushed buckle finish with the black release and chevrolet bowtie symbol in the middle. If the male end fits it is probably correct. Snake oyl is pretty good.

        Matt,

If you post a photo and/or give some dimensions, I'm sure someone on the board can tell you for certain if it's correct.

            Matt,

Here's what they should look like:

These are from a 67 which should be the same for a late 66. Should have 1966 on the label in addition to an ink stamped date code. #E#
