    1970 spark plugs

    what is the correct ac spark plug for the 70 lt-1? do the replacements have the same green bands? anything special to look for?

    The assembly line plug was AC R43 with 4 equal rings and ACNITER written on the shaft. Very rarely are they seen. The Z28 folks like to buy them every time they surface. I wouldn't use them in my LT-1 as they are too cold but they sure look good on the "shelf".

        i have some ac r44 plugs for a midyear. they have 4 equal green rings. i might just use them. you cant see them with the wires on them anyway.
