    63 SWC front turn signal

I connected the wiring etc to my front turn signals, and the related wiring on my steering colume.
When I actuate the lever for RH turn, the RH yellow light lights up, blinking OK. When I actuate for LH turn, both yellow lights light up and blink, but they are both dim.
What should I look for to correct this ?

    Rainer,

Do you have the ground wire attached at the core support, that's where the headlight harness grounds. Make sure you turn signal switch is adjusted properly and check with a test light to see if there is power coming from both wires when left hand blinker is on. Also, check the push together plugs at the lights to make sure they are wired correctly and with a test light to see which wire power is coming from. Get your AIM and study what wires go where, sounds like a ground problem. If you have a good original light, plug it in and see if it acts the same or if the problem goes away as this will eliminate the socket.

You may want to be sure you have the correct bulb installed and your getting a good connection at the socket.

Swap bulbs between the two. If you still have the problem verifying grounds starting with the socket.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think, you guys got me on the right track. (I had trouble getting the plugs seated). I will dig into it this W/E.
