    1962 clock instructions

What dose the clock instructions look like for a 1962 Corvette. I have seen a reprint and two originals and all three were different.

    Thanks

    Re: 1962 clock instructions

    John,
The correct clock instructions are a white 3 fold piece titled Chevrolet Electrically Wound Clock, Part #3710648. The presence of a part number seperates the Corvette piece from the passenger car version. This booklet may also be correct for 58 thru 60 Corvettes as well. Curt Gifford wrote an outstanding article in NCRS Restorer Volume 18 #4 about glovebox pieces for 61 and 62 Corvettes. Every 61 and 62 owner who is into details and/or having their car judged should refer to this article. Real clock instructions are not seen very often but I believe reprints are available.

Thanks, I have a repro with the part number and an original without.

        Dave,
Possibly e-bay item #150171350211 prompted the question. I'm not sure, but it doesn't look like it's tri-fold to me. This one's not correct?

          Rick,
I hope the bidder at $103 doesn't think he is getting a bargain for his Corvette. Another Ebay mis-representation. I saw that piece and it's not even close to the Corvette version.

I bid on E-bay item 180168780588 for only $15 dollars I got the wrong instructions. I was day late in getting educated. Is the a picture of a correct one I could look at?

            Thanks

              John,
I don't have a photo but look at the Restorer article I referred to and my description in my earlier post. That should be all you need. Be careful not to pay to much for a reproduction that is represented as an original.

                Re: 1962 clock instructions

I bought a repro many years ago
                " CHEVROLET
                Electrically Wound
                Clock
                Part #3710648".
It sounds like this is the proper repro. I'll have to see if I Still have that 92 restorer to confirm. I'll have to keep looking for an original.

                Thanks for all the help
                John
