64 Convertible door pillar weatherstripping

Hi all,

Trying to replace my door pillar weatherstripping and it's definetly something I need a bit of help with. I did remove the old rubber and removed the piece of stainless trim. Does the weatherstripping just slide down the trim and then just stays in place or does the four screws that holds the trim to the pillar actually screw through the weatherstripping? Pictures of how it is suppossed to look is always helpful.

No sealer or adhesive is used between the rubber weatherstrip and the stainless steel retainer - the screws attach the retainer channel to the windshield pillar, and the weatherstrip is retained in the channel only by the "curls" on the edges of the channel. See UPC 1, sheet C15.00 in your Assembly Manual.
