      Clem,

Did you happen to know a Bill Martin from your hillclimbing days? He owned '59 #9016 and there is a pic of him "in action" below.

Our sympathies go out to Bob's family.

Clem, I first met Bob McClure in 1965 when I got my first new Corvette. He flew to the Latrobe airport from Pittsburgh and wrote me up an insurance policy for it. It may have been Nationwide but I forget. Heard from him about 5 years ago or so. Bob wasn't that old? Wonder what he died from. Not as old as you anyhow. He always appeared to be in good health. I believe he was one of he original CCWP members and was really good at autocrossing as I recall. Somewhere I have some pics of him doing so from the old CCWP Flyin' Fiberglass. Don't ask me to look though. RIP Bob.

Thanks Clem. Now it's all coming back to me. He was one good insurance agent if I recall. Also a big time Corvette Enthusiast in his days.
