Re: Quality Paint
House of Kolor is the company founded by Jon Koslowski...according to him, he developed the specifications for most of their products which far exceed other manufacturers. ("Sure, HOK costs more; but it's actually cheaper because you use LESS of HOK products!") Jon Koslowski was bought out by Valspar, but remains as product development consultant and policy maker for the company.
House of Kolor is strictly a custom paint operation...exotic candy colors, pearls, etc. DuPont has a similar paint line called Hot Wheels (I'm not making this up. ) In my opinion, HOK won't be able to help you much with an original 66 Corvette paint color...unless you want them to mix up some Sunfire Yellow with a special twist. Hmmmm...Come to think of it,not a bad idea; call it Trinity Site Yellow.- Top
