I may be wrong, but I thought the original came with a "Corvette News". I do have that record on a 45 that I got way back in the 60's. It has the exact car sounds, but there is no dialogue. It is called, "Corvette going through Gears". It is on the LESCO label.

I didn't know that was where Steve McQueen got his sounds for Bullitt. I thought I was hearing Bullitt playing. Since Zora's sounds came first, he gets the credits!!

That's what I thought but when you view the video it shows a low hp tach.

Ad agencies (Campbell-Ewald, in this case) produce those things and aren't "hip" to tach redlines vs. engine specs.
