I am not an expert on the newer vettes.A friend of mine has a 96 and tells me the floor pans aere fiberglass..I was thinking that they are metal..Am i right?
I know my 75 is fiberglass but i thought that was one of the last years for it.
    Thanks

    Re: Floor pans

I don't know about a 96 but the 97 on up floor pans are a layer of balsa wood sandwiched by composite. I think there is a layer of sheet metal on the bottom side for protection.

Strangely, the forward floor pan is fiberglass and the rear floor pan is steel. I don't know what the rationale was for this.
