Re: The Carburetor Works
Hi Tim,
I recently had my carb rebuilt by The Carberator Works. My carb is a Rochester off a 1969 350/350 hp (original).I had the top of the line rebuild which included replating etc and had a few minor parts replaced. It ended up being fairly expensive with the total about $425 or so. I havent gotten the motor started yet as I am doing a frame off in progress but the carb looks beautiful and hopefully will run just as nice. They did a very nice job, one that my local carb rebuild store could never match.

Re: The Carburetor Works
I called them, loking for a proper carb with a rebuild, for my 66 SB. They were quite expensive, especially considering that I didn't have the carb.
I wound up using Jerry Luck, in Kansas (I do have his address somewhere). For around $425, I got a correct carb, mechanical restoration, and cosmetic restoration. This is a very good looking and running carb. He advertises in the the Driveline and is at the Corvettes at Carlisle show every year. If you need his phone or address, let me know. BTW, I have no affiliation with him.- Top

Jerry Luck Motorsports
I, too, have used Jerry Luck and found him to be quite knowledgeable, with great results and service. I had him do a Quadrajet for my Dad's 72, and it worked MUCH better than the "restored" carb for my 71 I bought through a Corvette Supply company in the "Windy City".
His address is: Jerry Luck Motorsports; 519 Fee Fee Hills; Hazelwood, MO 63042 and phone (314) 895-1551. His listed prices for restoration are $199 for a Holley 4 bbl or Rochester 4 bbl., or $125 for a Holley 2 bbl. I sent him a check for $199+ money for return shipping, and avoided any COD charges, etc. I, also, have no affiliation with him whatsoever.
And if anyone has a 7041213 carb (71 270hp 4 speed) carb to replace my "Windy City Special", please let me know!Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Jerry Luck :THE BEST
After paying Holley $600.00 to do my tri power only to have them returned with leaks, and generally poor quality restoration Jerry Luck reworked them to perfection. Milling all the flat surfaces, line boring all shafts and spending an amazing ammount of time on proper finishes, for slightly more than half Holleys price. They bolted up , ran with only idle adjustment, and everything worked perfectly. Absolutely TOP SHELF...- Top

Re: Jerry Luck :THE BEST
Recently received a 4056 Holley center carb back from Jerry. It looked beautiful, but more importantly, when I put it on the car, it fired it up on the first "click". I had no leaks......no problems. All I had to do was adjust the idle screws. Even the choke adjustment was right on the money. Chuck Gongloff1963 Corvette Conv. 327/360 NCRS Top Flight
