That's cheap , only Chevy guys buy accessories and me . NO NCRS guy would ever think of adding them , why it would make your Corvette worthless , many people think that of my 55 even tho accessories CAN be taken out.

When I got top flight at the 05 NCRS nationals they only take points off if you added any extra holes to add them, any thing not needing a hole to add accessories is not a deduct so %90 of my accessories dint get dinged . I used some existing holes to add some.
So you see you can have things the are usable that set your Corvette apart from others and lose next to no points.
Even tho I had the bubble top on I took it off for judging to see the soft top, accessories dint destroy my 55, my biggest hit was the wire wheels and radial tires . Even the added inside after market mirror dint lose points because the original mirror it self was still correct.
To me it's it's fun to find and install usable items and GM accessories to set my 55 apart from others , you seen one 55 you seen them all but mine people remember!

How do you guys find the accessories? Did the dealer have a parts book with the part numbers in them? I would like to find some accessories for my car. Where can I find the part numbers showing the accessories for my car a C-3?
        Thanks
        Kelly

          If Memory Serves...

The Corvette Fact Book series by MF Dobbins recites the applicable Dealer Accessory list for the years of cars he writes about. His books are in the NCRS Library for sale to club members at a discount. See your copy of Driveline or click on the STORE link at this website.

Each year Corvette had the accessory booklet for that year Corvette and the same for Car also. Now many accessories that was for a car of that year could also be used in a Corvette. Like tool kits, flares that are dated , compass , tissue box, fire extinguisher, trailer hitch, luggage, car shaver , locking gas cap and more. NCRS members are brain washed into thinking GM never offered accessories and never to install them for judging.
But as I proved and said you can still make NCRS top flight.

If your interested you need to know what the item LOOKS like in the accessory booklet then go to e-bay and try to find one.

                Hi Roy,

In addition to the Look-Out Mirror, is there another mirror accessory hinged at the top of your mirror (I noticed the black spring and clips in back) - possibly a day-night mirror? Tell us about it...

Since I moved to Florida I needed a navigation system for my '59. Here's mine. Mounts perfectly using the courtesy light screw, easily removed whenever. It has a calibration screw to offset surrounding metal, but changing stations on the Wonderbar throws it off a few degrees now and then!

                        Yes...

GM PN's are listed for Dealer Options in Dobbins' '63-67 and '68-72 Fact Books. I can't speak to what's shown in his later era Shark book...
