Points deduction for fibreglass shielding Vs. the metal repros against original? Is it worth shopping around or leave it alone Thanks Brad.

Original was steel , not fiberglass and repro's are steel so I would give a higher value for steel ones which are pretty original.
Would a judge give a better value (points) on the original 54 engine head or a Car 54 head!! That's the difference between a 50K 54 and a 100K 54.But it dont get better then the real deal. -

The points for the shielding is 25 Originality and 20 Condition. I would doubt that you would receive any points for Originality with fibreglass shielding. As such, you then not be eligible for any condition points.
Only you can decide if losing 45 points is worth not getting a metal repo or original.BobComment
