C2 SB Distributor Cap Part Number?

What is the correct distributor cap part number for a 65' 327/300? And where can I find a supplier of an NOS cap? Or good replacement?

    Thanks,

oroginal cap was Delco-Remy with "patent pending" embossed on exposed roof of the cap. your local NAPA-type store can provide a functional replacement cap at reasonable cost. originals are about 100 bucks or higher. you can go junk yarding and probably find a used one for show purposes. mike

In searching the junk yards, did GM use the same cap on other GM cars besides Chevies and Corvettes? And how many year mondels were they used?

Also, you can purchase one of the new repros for around $60. I understand that they judge real well.

yes, the olds, pontiac, caddy and buicks used similar if not identical caps. if you've got a FI, the 60 olds cap is short tower like the vette fi.mike
