    Re: Whooooa!!!

    Ed,
While we are on midyear clocks.. I have a 66 with the original movement. It runs fine but is fast. I have followed the directions in the owners manual to recalibrate it but to no avail. I realy don't want to remove it again for fear that I will scratch somthing in my newly restored console and side pannels. But, This reseting of the clock all the time drives me nuts. Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

I put a quartz movement in mine several years ago. Keeps perfect time. Seriously, if you can't get it calibrated you may have to remove and send it out.

Who sells the quartz movements? I know various vendors will do the conversion for you, but I want to do it myself.

I think just about all the catalog places sell them. At the time I got mine from Mid America because they had them on sale. Clock works also carries them and will sell them for DIY.
