    I Figured it OUT!!!

It seems you need to post a message before your profile will show up on the list.

Would a 185 work on the 5" wheel?

                Duke and John-

Thanks for the info. If you were in my shoes, had no old 6.70 bias ply tires already to use as a spare, were putting new radials on the four mounted wheels, and were never, ever going to have this already modified car judged, would you buy a new 6.70 bias ply or a cheap (non-Coker) 185 radial for a stock 5" wheel?

Buy the 185. That's what I use. Fits in the wheel well perfectly. You'd have to be nuts or an NCRS member to buy bias ply tires.

                    Re: Technical Informational Manual Question

The engine assembly date is stamped on the machined pad in front of the passenger-side cylinder head - that's the key date you need.

Re: C1 oil pressure tube routing

The ground wire (black with white tracer) with the ring terminal that goes under the rear upper valve cover bolt comes from the main wiring harness on the left inner fender, just forward of the hood latch; it's the primary ground back to the engine for the instrument panel wiring, from the instrument panel lower reinforcement, and for the horns.
