I don't recommend any kind of grease. It will just get gummy and attract dirt.
Clean everything thoroughly and wipe down the parts with WD-40, which will inhibit surface corrosion and provide all the lubrication that is necessary.
Nothing in the autocam assembly is heavily loaded, so no specific lubrication is required.
I used Tri-Flow instead of WD40 per Duke's recommendations on my 67 distributor.
Basically the same stuff but Tri-flow has a little teflon in it.
Soaked the old lubrication wick with it, then squeezed it out and let it dry. Found that you can't find those wicks anymore. I guess they don't put them on replacements.
