Joe, Could you please identify this blower motor off of my 74 L-48 with A/C. the JG gives the # for non A/C cars but not the ones with A/C. The number is: "5044760 OB 10 4" As always, THANKS for your help....Marty

Unfortunately, blower motors are an item that's difficult to confirm original application. I don't have PRODUCTION information for the blower motors and the SERVICE part number of blower motors is usually different than the number actually stamped on the motor, including the number stamped on the SERVICE motor. That's because blower motors are supplied in a box with other parts. So, the SERVICE part number represents the contents of the box and not just the motor.
However, the number you have described "looks like" the sort of number I would expect to see on an original motor off a car of your vintage.In Appreciation of John Hinckley
