    C4 Horn Circuit

I just need to know how to make the horn connector that is composed of the "capacitor" and "diode". Looks like it just runs from the front left horn connector to frame. I cannot find this gizzmo anywhere so exactly what am I looking for? Can I buy these two items at a radio shack? Both my 84 and 88 are missing this part of the horn circuit.

      Re: C4 Horn Circuit

On the 84, I noticed a horn feed single-wire connector (horn side is suppose to exit with 2-wire but I only had one-wire). When I bought this car the horns sounded funny too. I had an older copy of a Haynes manual with detailed wiring diagrams and I could see this part of the circuit. Problem for me right now is knowing what specific type capacitor and diode? Suspect the purpose of this part of circuit affects horn tone/balance/harmonic something?

I looked at the 85-87 diagram after your response and noticed it uses the same type circuit but it appears to be configured a little differently--grounds somewhere else on the front rail along with RH lighting. This may be why I couldn't find an exact replication on my 88--maybe it is still in my front lighting harness someway else?
