    1969 L88 Corvette

OK, I can no longer contain my curiosity. I have seen a white L88 Coupe for sale in Hemmings by a company called USCORVETTES for several months. I know it does not have a tank sticker. "On its face" the numbers appear to match although the engine pad is only partially legible with the assembly date obscured...it has been for sale for a while so someone on this board must have looked at the car...

So, has anyone looked at the car, or had the car looked at, to determine if all the available indicators point toward it being "probable", as opposed to merely "possible", that it was an original L88 car? I know someone out there can save me some time and help me out...I have tried to resist "...but like a moth to the flame..."

If you do not wish to post your comments feel free to email me at caminosrule@aol.com Thanks.

      Phil,

I am not looking to beat a dead horse but are you refering to condition, authenticity, or both?
