Sometimes Ebay is Just GREAT - 1957 AIM

I am amazed at what pops up on ebay. The other day I picked up an original 1957 AIM. The manual even has most of its 50 year old tabs left. Sure beats looking at the reproduction AIMS, which have been copied repeatedly over the years.

The AIM is not copyrighted, so I toyed with the idea of scanning the AIM and putting it on the 'net. But I would need a large format scanner, and those cost a bundle.

Let me know if you would like a scan of any 8 1/2 x 11 page in particular, however.

That is indeed a very cool find!!! Did you figure out what the latest revision date on the AIM sheets was for this set?

My 57 AIM is identical to the NCRS Reproduction version, except for the Introduction pages. If the holders of the AIMs were following the rules, all AIMs should look the same at the end of the year. The AIM states:

"This manual has been designed to expedite furnishing the latest information to the user. It is imperative, therefore, that additions and revisions be inserted in their proper place and that superseded sheets be removed and destroyed."

Based on some emails I have received, I am going to scan the 57 AIM and post it on the net.
