54 door pulls

i have a set of door pulls from a early 54 with only three screw holes, the ones i see for 54 have 4 holes, would an early 54 carry over with 53 parts, i see three holes on the 53 pulls, thanks for the input, bob

Yes, early 54's use the 3 hole pulls.

My old 54, #659 had 3 holers. Chuck

My grandpa had a 2 holer out back. Never saw much use for a three holer.

Yes, but the hole in the middle, is usually about 1/2 size.

The three hole version vs the four hole looks a little different on the back side. If you ever have the chance to compare, you'll see a difference in the structure. converting to and from 3 to 4 hole is pretty easy also. Repro spears will be hollow in the back. The area where you actually pull, is different on the repros also. You can make them feel and look correct with a little work.
