I removed the splash panels for the first time for a well deserved cleaning. The one on the passenger side has a slight "V" type bend in it from the front bolt hole back to about the middle of it. I does not appear to have been hit. Is this correct or is it flat like the drivers side? Maybe it was off before 1971? A picture of an original might help. Dale

Re: 67 C-2 splash panels
Hi Dale:
If your car has an AO Smith body, you may find the body job number on the firewall side of the passenger side footwell. This area is exposed when you remove the splash panel. So, if you clean the footwell surface, do so carefully.- Top

Re: 67 C-2 splash panels
Dale,
A little more research and info from Bow tie cars might be appropriate before beating the panel flat. My original '65 passenger side shield has a similar "V" shape to it. The driver's side is flat.
