    C-3, Trico wiper blades

Okay, now I'm needing a photo of what a 1970 Corvette 16" Trico wiper blade has on it please. The JG describes them as having the word Trico on them with patent numbers. What are the patent numbers? Is the blade part number RL-16? I've got the correct holders but I noticed the blades are different...one has Ansco with one patent number on it and the other is blank.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Scott - The TRICO wiper refills are p/n RF-16. This number covers a good number of years over which the rubber wiper had a number of different configurations specifically with regards to the design of the sides of the rubber wiper. The sides of rubber wiper on some early refills were smooth, then a series of bumps or "dots" running the length of the wiper, then 2 ribs running the length of the wiper, then 3 ribs running the length of the wiper, and I think now they are back to the smooth sided refills. For the 70 model year the refill rubber had the 2 ribs running the length of the wiper.

You're also looking for the RF-16 refill configuration with the Latch-Locks to hold the refill inplace in the holder.
