Has anyone used GM #15591103 as the superseded part for Oil Pressure Switch #14039612. I'm wondering if this is a "universal" type of replacement? How close to original looks and accuracy are these senders? THANKS....Marty

The GM #15591103 oil pressure sender is used for a LOT of applications. However, the 14039612 was used for a LOT of applications, too. So, you might say that either one was "universal". Besides, the GM #14039612 was not the original oil sender used for any C3 Corvette, anyway. Several different senders were used in PRODUCTION over the 1973-82 period but none of them was the 14039612.
In any event, the 15591103 looks very similar to the sending units used during the 73-76 period. I'm not sure how similar it is to later original units.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -
