A friend has the raised 2X10's in his trailer with the side door. Who'd he call when he had to transport his "dead" one home? Me!!!
And my floor is flat all the time, so any tread width fits......
My point is, if you are purchasing a trailer, a side door costs the same as a good winch and the winch makes the trailer more versatile.
In the photo below.... it was those "drag race starts" provided by my Cummins turbocharged engine that tore the doors off and slammed then against the back ramp the last time I challenged a Duromax.
Lost the chassis for the same reason beating a new "Power choke" last spring. Good thing I've got a Haulmark to keep the parts from being all over the highways. Have a good one!!!
