    1962 horn problems-Chapter 2

Well my horn problems are downstream from the horn button. I do not get a sound by shorting out the brass contact on the steering column once I have removed the steering wheel. By shorting out the front terminal on the horn relay I get the horns to blow. This looks to be a tan colored wire. Could this mean that my relay is bad? Any other other thoughts on getting my horn to blow?

To follow up on my problem, the solution was simple. The connection between the pig-tail coming out of the column and the tan wire was not good. By correcting this connection all was well again.
