      Pierre, they are only multi-layered around the outside edge where they attach to the wheels but not in the center. Clean them up good on the inside and look closely using different light angles, you'll probably see the dents from the inside. Also if you feel using a thin rag, it will enhance your ability to feel for them. Hope this helps.
