window crank seals-'64

    window crank seals-'64

    Does anyone know if the window crank seals were installed behind the door paper vapor barrier or between the barrier and the door panel?thanks

        Garth -

        That seal goes over the regulator shaft AFTER the vapor barrier is installed, and BEFORE the door trim panel goes on.

                Yes that's where they go, however my Mar64 never had them. Now the AIM calls for them and lost credit for not having them at Nationals. Now have some repro's and will put on, but again my car never had them. Owned since Aug 67 and other owners never removed door panels. At National was an early 64 never touched and panels where removed under the tent, showed the paper and NO seals. I would add them since they can be removed later.
