My '58 has wheel cylinder numbers 5453821 and 5453822 on the front and 5450649 on the rear. From reviewing the archives it sounds like these are correct for standard brakes on a '58. The 1 3/16" 5459527 & 5459528 front wheel cylinders didn't come out until 60 correct?

just sent my orignal 57 vette wheel cylinders to white post for sleeving and the embossed cast #'s you note are correct for a 57 etc. what year c-1 vette did you take yours off of? mike -

Mike, Mine came off of my '58. I'm getting ready to send them and the master cylinder in to get them resleeved also. What is it running to have them resleeved these days?Comment

You're exactly right. The 821 and 822 then carried over as the RPO 687 front cylinders for 60-62.Comment

whitepost has them done and when they arrive, i'll know the cost. seems to me the last c-1's i had Billy do ran about $200 for four wheel cyls.suspect the master cyl would run about 150 to 200 but its been years since i restored the 61 big brake vette. google wwhitepost and give them a call. mikeComment
