    C-1 Fuel Pump

Is there any difference between the 1958, 1959, and 1960 AC Fuel Pump?

    Re: C-1 Fuel Pump

Early '58 engines used AC 5594445 pumps while '58L-62 left the factory with AC 5594656 pumps. The 'plumbing' (position of inlet/outlet) differs between the two as well as the PN derivative that's stamped into the pump's flange. Also, if memory serves, there's subtile difference in the size of the font used to stamp the '4656 number on '58L-60 vs. '61-62 pumps. The details of what judges look for are given in the JG books for these cars...
