Front sway bar bushings (13/16" dia. bar) ordered from Paragon for my 1962 are only 1.25" wide whereas my original bushings are approx. 1.5" wide. Is anyone aware of correct bushings offered by other vendors? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

even the service replacements i bought in the mid-70's were narrower than the originals. not aware of any 1 1/2" wide. may experiment with c-2 and c-3 bushings. mike -

If you're comparing the new bushings to the old, in-service ones, that's usually not a valid comparison. The new bushings will compress into the bracket and around the bar. In doing so, they will expand in other dimensions, including width.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
