    Fuse Size

As a safety measure, I intend to install an “in line” fuse on my ’57 on the wire between the starter and the ammeter gauge. Any suggestion as to the size of fuse I should use for this purpose?

    Thanks…
    Pierre

More than the maximum current rate shown on the ammeter; less than the maximum current allowable on the ammeter wire size.
