    The Last Detail-Atlanta, GA

Has anyone heard of these guys before and what kind of service and products can I expect from them? Looking mostly for good repro weatherstrips and die cast chrome emblems, bezels, etc.

    Thanks.

Basically carry the same parts as most of the other vendors.

Greg: If you want good repro weatherstip contact Corvette Rubber. In my opinion and some others they have the best. I just used them on my 63 coupe and they fir perfectly, no fuss or muss. Check them out.

Something's funny Len...your link takes me to Tracy Performance.

Is this the site the you meant? http://www.corvette-rubber.com

If it is then that's half the battle because I also need some trim parts, bezels, etc. The Last Detail claims that their weatherstrip is made by Corvette Rubber and the description of their trim parts sounds good so I was thinking of getting both from them.

Sounds like the weatherstripping part is good. Can anyone comment on the quality of thier exterior emblems, bezels, etc?

I used them for a front emblem on my 72. In discussions with them, they carried two types of front emblems; one that everybody else has and looks OK, and one that appeared better than new and perfect in every detail. I bought the latter and it was more than the "generic" one but well worth the price, imo.

                        Greg,

They carry a LOT of ACDelco parts. If you are on the phone with them, they will let you know the source of their parts and speak openly, unlike other vendors. I have bought thousands of $ worth of parts from them over the years, especially when I redid Dad's 72 several years ago. Sam and Mark were the guys "running the store" back then. I often see one of them each year at Carlisle.
