    C3: rear brg tools

There's someone that sells a set of these tools on Ebay for around $200.
He's been selling these a lot.

Are these tools good enough to do one rear end?

The tools I use for trailing arms are:
            Spindle knocker
            set up tool
            Bearing puller
            20 ton press
            some tools I made up
            200 ft/lb torque wrench
Access to a surface grinder- very important to dial in shims and set endplay to .002" +/- .0005"

Tools I don't use are the spindle installer and spindle press. Have both never used either one.

Use a good quality grease and Timken bearings. You may find Timkens sold at the chain stores come from a off shore location compared to ones supplied by a bearing distributor. The ones I have seen at the chain say Poland on them, the ones I get from my supplier still say USA on them.

            Good luck with your rebuild.
