Are original ( seam on bottom, no part#) exhaust extensions magnetic?

Rob -- Can't say for sure on 66's, but the 1965 TIM&JG calls for " ...welded seam on bottom. Most have visible stamped part #s."
I have 2 sets; ones with seam and part # are strongly magnetic. I added these extensions to my coupe around 1981, so may have been (then) current service.
A second set I have (eBay) has NO visible seam and are not magnetic in the least.
Both are 2 inches exactly in diameter.
I realize this is no help to you, but am hoping other's answers may solve my situation as well.- Top
