C4-Window Sticker from Nat. Corv Museum

I'm considering a 1993 Anniversary Convertible. The car has 11,000 miles on it. It's with a dealer and he does NOT have the original window sticker. I've heard you can purchase copies of the window sticker for 1981 or newer corvettes from the National Museum. Is this accurate and has anyone done this before? How close of a resemblance is it to the real thing?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Try this URL for a window sticker and build sheet https://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/buildsheet.asp

Hmm! NCM is $30 and the other vendor is $50. Support the National Corvette Museum and spend your money there.

I agree 100%. Support the NCM. Bowling Green Corvette Stickers 1981-2007 are available from the NCM. (some 1981 Bowling Green records are lost)

I've posted this before for Members who have a 1977-1981 St. Louis Corvette. With the possibility of the lost records of 1981 Bowling Green Corvettes being recovered by Allied Vaughn. Also many of us have additional GM vehicles and want a factory invoice to document our cars.Just trying to pass on all information to the membership. Save the Wave.>George

Greg, My May 83 car was one of the first C4's judged by NCRS in the country. In fact it was used extensively by Tom Barr and others in making up the manual as the car is quite original. It is very important that you buy the build sheet because without that my 84 would have had problems going thru judging. You see there could be many volumes of material written just about 83- 84 years alone. The 84 is a very difficult car. Sorta like the 63's are.
So anyhow I bought the window sticker and it was dead nuts (I only had remnants of the original), build sheet and anything else the NCM had for 84. I believe they sent me the dealer brochure also. John
