    Hi, This is the first time on this site. I need to know what was the color of a 1968 steering column. Thanks, Tom

    My original 68's column is the same color as the red interior.

            Steering column is flat "0" gloss.

                    Gloss is often specified in percentage units. The formula is complex and there are several ways to fixture the test. But, for 'big picture' purposes, think of it as the percent of light reflected from the painted surface vs. incident light applied.

                    So, a 0% gloss factor would be interpreted as fully flat or as the paint came out of the can...
