'66 judging manual- white wall width

Reviewing white wall width I see in my old 2nd edition judging manuals that the width is called out as 5/8 inch for '66 and 1 inch for '65.

What do the current manuals specify for '65 and '66 white wall widths?

The 1965 fifth edition Judging Guide states that the whitewall is approximately 1" in width and recessed into the sidewall. I don't have a 1966 Judging Guide.

The 4th edition of the '66 JG calls out 5/8" white wall width.

            Here's a blow-up of Nov '64 plant delivery

Hi Dan --- You can scale it on computer screen, knowing that the wheelcover is 15.0" in diameter.
