Anyone with a need for a replacement VIN tag, etc. may want to consider A. G. Backeast. He duplicated my corroded '68 VIN tag for $150.00 + $20.00 for correct rivets. All that was required was a copy of my title, a picture of the tag, and a money order. Turn-around was 6 days. Quality was top-notch (identicle) and the tag was cut at 3 3/4", so it can be trimmed to a shorter length if necessary. No hassles, no problems. Special thanks to Joe Lucia, who told me about him. Check him out at:
compare the two pontiac trim plates in the "W" area. doubt the NCRS boys would buy the differences, then again, we are only privey to photographs on his web site. mike

I'm only referring to the VIN tag, although they make all kinds of trim tags. Don't know about how they'd judge (mine's a driver), but tag looks really good. Rosette rivets do too.
