If the photo below shows what you're looking for, it's not a proportioning valve; as Joe noted, it's the distribution block that contains the differential pressure warning switch for the "Brake" warning light in the cluster. Only J-56 Heavy Duty Brake cars had an adjustable proportioning valve.

Yes, and the distribution block pictured is available in reproduction. As far as "stampings", I don't know. Maybe the reproduction source could stamp them to order.

I have only seen photos of the reproduction distribution block, but in the photos it does not appear to be a good match for the original. Originals show up from time to time on ebay. You could also check some of the used Corvette parts suppliers.

Yes, I meant distribution block. The figure I used for the name was, as stated, for J56. Didn't occur to me at the time of the question that the names would be different.
