    1955 braided ignition wires

A friend is working on a 1955 Corvette and has a set of braided (shielded) ignition wires that are supposed to be correct for that car. He can't figure out where the eyelets at the ends of the braided wires are to be anchored.
    Can anyone help?

This is a pic. Of the Dist center section I repro ( view from the bottom) . You'll see four holes at the top area , that's where the plug wire ground shielding connects inside the cap shielding, the other ends near the engine plugs is ground on the engine block just below the plugs two at each connection front and rear.

Thanks, Roy... can I assume the braids attach to the mount holes for the spark plug heat shields at the plug end?

Roy, this car doesn't currently have spark plug heat shields, do you know
                    if the 55 used them?
